Be Real, Not Perfect

Being ordinary is a gentle reminder, that, in a world, full of loud ambitions, chasing perfections, and hustle culture, simplicity, and self-reflections has its own charm

Chasing the Extraordinary

Extraordinary is overrated! What is this hunger of being a standout? Why is being ordinary considered as boring? The ultimate goal of our life is being happy, so if any individual finds happiness in their ordinary life, what is so wrong in that? What is this desire of being insta-worthy ? What is this dim-witted desire of making every part of your life “aesthetic “? How is it so socially unacceptable to be vanilla? Why we cannot just live in the moment and create memories rather than hustle all the damn time?

Don’t get me wrong, working towards achieving an extraordinary life is fantastic, it is quite appreciable however, sustaining in that position is not possible all the time. In my honest opinion it takes a lot of work and effort. This incessant chase of remark-ability not only affects your mental health negatively but it also drains all your energy. Moreover, if you are living the ordinary 9 a.m -5 p.m life, you should be grateful, since that life is blessed as compared to people who are struggling to make ends meet. It is a travesty that we cannot appreciate the tiny moments of joy which leads to despair and sadness. Live the ordinary life and be happy. Honestly speaking, living a simple guilt-free life full with small moments of happiness with your loved ones might do wonders for your mental well being and mental health

What Really Is The Perfect Life?

Perfection is over-glorified!!! Why do you want to be perfect in each and everything? One can’t be perfect and right all the time. Perfection, planning and impeccability is good but it should not be followed all the time. It’s just an added pressure to further screw up your mental health, it is just the society’s way to create chaos in your life.
It is okay to make mistakes, to make things happen without planning. Why to think and over think about things that can be done in a breeze without creating panic?

Reading the content made me realise that I have put immense yet unnecessary pressure on myself to keep up with my peers rather than creating my own goals and expectations as per my liking. I have realised that it is not always necessary to be different, staying mainstream is equally rewarding if it’s in the best of your interest.
